Here at the Windmill Centre we are proud to be a part of a community project to bring additional counselling services to Torquay.
With NHS waiting lists for Torbay and South Devon at an all time high and with the national statistics telling us that 24% of the working population, aged between 18-64 are in need of long term support for mental health, the introduction of a Community Counselling service here at the Windmill Centre is a welcomed service.
Trainee counsellors, working on their 100 hour placements are providing this service FREE of charge and are available to meet on a 1 to 1 basis for a minimum of 6 one hour sessions. Anyone in need of long term mental health support can get in touch by calling the centre on 01803 314876 or emailing us at email@example.com
Our counselling rooms offer people a quiet, informal space to engage on a 1 to 1 basis with their counsellor, and hopefully feel more relaxed during their sessions. Our counsellors are fully trained and work using talking therapies, art and creative therapies, and can also introduce you to mindfulness.
We have full disabled access throughout the building and we have tea and coffee facilities available on request. So, if you or someone you know is waiting for or in need of counselling for long term mental health, and they live in Torquay, then get in touch and we'll introduce to one of our counsellors and you can organise your sessions through them directly. Call us on 01803 314876 for your initial introduction.
