Chronic Pain Cafe

The Chronic Pain Cafe was set up about 6 years ago to create a non-judgemental space for people with any disability, or chronic illness, as well as their carers, to come and have a cuppa and some cake amongst other people who understand

what it feels like to feel rubbish!

We don't advertise as a 'Support Group', we just have regular chats, every Wednesday, and have a laugh. We just happen to all struggle with our health in some way or another. We are based at The Windmill Centre in Pendennis Road, Hele, Torquay.

The centre has disabled access, disabled facilities and its own car parking! Everything is FREE and you can come along whenever you like, weekly, monthly whatever suits you... our door is always open, and a welcoming smile awaits!

Emma and Stephen who run the group have great knowledge of the help and support available in the Torbay area, and work supporting people with disabilities in their day jobs.

We are always available to listen, suggest and signpost people to services and other community groups locally that might be of interest. So why not come along and join us on a Thursday 10am - 12.30pm
